RECIPE: Fertility Boosting Smoothie

This fertility boosting smoothie is full of nutrients that will help prepare your body for a healthy pregnancy. Perfect for both females & males!

Ingredients:

1 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 frozen banana, chopped
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 scoop of plant based protein powder
1 tablespoon maca powder
1 teaspoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon chia Seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

  • Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Drink immediately!

Why?

Almonds > an excellent source of the healthy fats, protein, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamin E.

Pineapple > contains bromelain, which helps thicken the uterine lining and helps egg implantation.

Banana > rich in B6. B6 is particularly important to reproductive health because it helps regulate the hormones.

Maca > helps to increase your energy levels and balance your hormones.

Flax & Chia > healthy plant-based fats that are essential for fertility.

Protein & Cinnamon > helps to balance blood sugar levels to stop you from being tempted by junk food.
